Two home tournaments. One club.
254 teams entered our two events in 2026. The Winter Shootout opens the spring season in February and the Furniture City Classic closes the summer in August. Both are NCYSA sanctioned, both guarantee three games, and both are backed by turf capacity for the weekends when weather would stop anyone else.

Club tournaments
On our turf. Twice a year.
Two events, six months apart, built for the two moments a competitive team most needs real games: just before the spring season, and just before the fall.
The pre-season opener, played on 16–18 turf fields so February weather does not decide it. 159 teams from 30 clubs in 2026, U9–U14 boys and girls plus U15–U19 boys.
The late-summer tune-up. 95 teams across 20 brackets in 2026, boys and girls U9–U19, across three complexes in High Point and Kernersville.

Applications are open on SincSports. Not sure which bracket fits, or bringing several teams? Send your club, age groups and rough team count and we confirm the bracket and the entry fee before you apply.
Where you play
Our own complexes. Plus turf when it counts.
The club's home venues in High Point and Kernersville host both events. In February the Shootout adds ZooCity in Asheboro, Bryan Park in Browns Summit and Truist Point, for 16–18 turf fields.

Common questions
Who runs these tournaments?
Carolina Core FC Youth hosts both, managed in partnership with 365 Sports Travel. Both are sanctioned by NCYSA and US Youth Soccer.
Can teams from outside North Carolina enter?
Yes. The 2026 editions drew clubs from South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee alongside teams from across North Carolina.
How many games is a team guaranteed?
Three in both events, in every bracket.
How do we enter?
Through SincSports. The Winter Shootout (February 2027) is open now: the Apply button is on its page. The Furniture City Classic opens ahead of August; send your club and age groups through its page and we will email you the day it opens.
What happens if it rains or freezes in February?
We play on grass whenever conditions allow. When they do not, we move brackets onto the 16–18 turf fields we hold across the venue set rather than cancelling them.

The part nobody else can offer
Grass when it's good. Turf when it isn't.
Tournaments in the Carolinas get cancelled for weather every season, and the teams that travelled eat the cost. We play on grass whenever conditions allow, and hold turf in reserve so a bad forecast means moving a bracket rather than losing it.

Held across the venues our two events use. Play is on grass whenever the weather allows.
Somewhere to move to
A tournament with one surface has one plan. When a grass field goes under we shift the bracket onto turf and carry on.
We do not send teams home early
A cancelled bracket costs a travelling family hotel nights and a team its last tune-up. The reserve is how we avoid making that call.
