Open tryouts. Every year. Every level.

Plenty of clubs act as gatekeepers. We don't. Spring tryouts run from the top down, so a player who misses the top team still has every other level ahead of them. The pro side holds open tryouts too.

How spring tryouts work

Step by step

Every step, explained.

  1. Recreation (U4–U19)

    Fun-first community soccer across the Triad. Volunteer coached, uniform included, no tryout.

  2. Juniors (U7–U10)

    First step into licensed club coaching without extensive travel. Two sessions a week, local games.

  3. Classic & National 1 (U11–U19)

    Statewide NCYSA travel competition with a promotion path to the National 1 League.

  4. Pre-MLS & Pre-GA (U10–U12)

    The high-performance bridge for top players entering the national platforms: U10 teams in NCYSA, U11–U12 in the CDL.

  5. Girls Academy & GA Aspire (U13–U19)

    Premier national league platform for elite female athletes with direct collegiate recruitment.

  6. MLS NEXT Homegrown & Academy Division (U13–U19)

    Direct pro-academy development tied to Carolina Core FC (MLS NEXT Pro).

  7. Carolina Core FC · MLS NEXT Pro

    The apex. An independent professional club competing at Truist Point in High Point. Youth players train in alignment with first-team standards, benefit from pro scouting and homegrown pathways, and attend pro matchdays.
