Our top U11 and U12 players compete in the Carolina Development League (CDL), a CPSL-operated platform that brings together the best young players from premier clubs across the Carolinas. Our U10 Pre-MLS and Pre-GA teams play NCYSA on the same curriculum. The direct bridge to MLS NEXT and Girls Academy, years early.

Open tryouts. Every year. Every level.

Plenty of clubs act as gatekeepers. We don't. Spring tryouts run from the top down, so a player who misses the top team still has every other level ahead of them. The pro side holds open tryouts too.

How spring tryouts work

Pre-MLS & Pre-GA questions

How are players selected?
By invitation or tryout. Spring tryouts for the 2027–28 season run in March; between windows, request an evaluation and a director confirms a training night. U10, U11 and U12 players are all evaluated the same way.
What does the fee cover?
$2,600 a year (U11–U12) or $2,350 (U10) covers coaching, league play, referee allocations, video and IDPs. A roster spot is secured with an initial deposit upon invitation; the balance is payable in up to 9 monthly installments. Uniforms are purchased separately.
Where does the pathway lead?
Pre-MLS feeds MLS NEXT (boys) and Pre-GA feeds the Girls Academy (girls) at U13, with the same coaching staff involved on both sides of the bridge.
