Accessibility statement.

Carolina Core FC Youth wants every family in the Triad to be able to use this site, including parents who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What the site does

• A skip link at the top of every page jumps straight to the content.
• Every page has one clear heading structure and a language attribute, with a full Spanish version of the key pages.
• Text and interface labels meet the contrast ratios in WCAG AA. Photographs used as backdrops are hidden from assistive technology; content photographs carry descriptions.
• All interactive controls work with a keyboard and show a visible focus state.
• Animations are switched off for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
• Forms label every field, mark required fields, and report problems in text rather than colour alone.
• Tables of program comparisons re-flow into cards on small screens rather than scrolling sideways.

Known limitations

Registration and payment happen on PlayMetrics, a separate service whose accessibility we do not control. Some maps and social links open third-party sites. A few illustrative images are AI-generated stand-ins that will be replaced.
